Description
A German L.V.G. CV 2 seater reconnaissance aircraft brought down by Australian Flying Corps Officers Brown and Finlay on 22.8.1918. Captain A R Brown and Major S W Addison are standing in front of the aircraft and Lieutenant G Finlay is standing to the right behind the aircraft. The aircraft was brought back to Australia post war but was one of a number of aircraft accidentally destroyed by fire at the Australian War Museum in Melbourne in the 1920s.
