Thua Tich, South Vietnam. 1969-06. A soldier surveys the scene of a successful night ambush near the gates of the abandoned village in north eastern Phuoc Tuy Province. The ambush, set with armoured personnel carriers (APCs) from 2 Troop, B Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, plus infantry from 1st Australian Task Force Defence and Employment Platoon and engineers, killed eleven Viet Cong (VC).
