Description

The original graves of some of the Australians who died on the Gallipoli Peninsula. On the far left is the grave of Lieutenant Clarence William Wolfenden, 1st Division Artillery, killed in action on 11 May 1915; prominent in the foreground is that of Captain Sydney Raymond Hall, 10th Battalion, killed in action on 25 April 1915. In the background is the grave of Major Walter Whyte Ellis, killed in action on 3 May 1915.
