Description

Unidentified personnel at the Australian dressing station on the beach at Anzac Cove. Several large wicker baskets can be seen near the entrance of the dugout, which is constructed largely of sandbags with a roof of corrugated iron. Note the telephone poles on the slope in the background. Attached to the sandbags on the far right is a hand lettered wooden sign reading 'To Cas Cl Stn' indicating the direction to a Casualty Clearing Station.
