Four unidentified Australians pose with some German weapons captured by the 13th Battalion during the Battle of Hamel on 4 July 1918. The weapons are, right to left: a Maxim MG 08/15 light machine gun; a 7.6 cm leichte Minenwerfer N/a (light trench mortar, new model); a Mauser 98c carbine; and a Maxim MG08 heavy machine gun on a sled mount.
