Mena, Egypt. c 1915. A general view of Mena Camp through the tent lines, showing pyramids in the background. The tents were all bell tents and at right is a guards tent and a rifle rack beside it. A soldier stands on duty, with his rifle at the slope. Note that the rifle has a bayonet fixed to it. This is a stereo image. One half of the image is held at C05278. (Donor C. S. Ryan)
