Description
Australian Red Cross Society poster by James Northfield. Although there are no overt references to the Second World War within the poster it dates from this period. Image fills the top third of the poster and shows a Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service vehicle speeding through a wild night. Text is overlayed in red across the top and continues beneath the image. A Donor's Badge with a red cross and the text 'Blood Donor' inscribed inside is positioned lower right.
