RAA expedition crew
Description
Handwritten copy of a diary describing an expedition by soldiers of the Royal Australian Artillery, stationed at Thursday Island, to remote areas of New Guinea, during November-December 1910. It is titled "Diary of a Trip to New Guinea and the Islands in Torres Straits" and was copied by William Tindale. The collection also contains three letters written by Tindale to his sister Ollie between December 1910 and November 1911.
