Australian Army issue grey woollen blanket with three vertical blue stripes. The top and bottom edges are bound with red wool blanket stitch. A white cotton label stitched to the lower left hand corner is machine embroidered in red with the words: 'JOHN VICARS & CO PTY. LTD. MARRICKVILLE 1942'.
