Sick men embarking from the pier at Anzac Cove for a nearby hospital ship. In the foreground are two Indian muleteers with their animals. From the Gallipoli Peninsula sick and wounded men would sail to Alexandria and then travel by train to Cairo for transfer to one of the hospitals.
