Description
The original grave of 60 Sapper (Spr) Cecil William Robert Howlett, 1st Field Company Engineers, in a cemetery on the coast of the Gallipoli Peninsula. Spr Howlett, a native of Penrith, NSW, was a surveyor prior to enlisting on 19 August 1914, and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Afric (A19) on 18 October 1914. He was killed in action on 2 May 1915.
