Studio portrait probably of 3346 Private (Pte) Ernest Alec Henderson, 11th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Ballarat, (originally of Queen's Park, London, England); or possibly 3798 Pte Ernest Albert Henderson, 12th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of Northcote, Vic. 3346 Pte Ernest Alec Henderson enlisted on 16 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915. 3798 Pte Ernest Albert Henderson enlisted on 8 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ceramic on 23 November 1915. He was killed in action on 19 July 1916 in France.
