Description
This German recruitment poster depicts a soldier with his wife and child. The text ("Schutzt eure kinder! Schutzt euren frauen! Schutzt euch selbst! Reichswehr: Melde dich noch heute!") translates to mean "Protect your children! Protect your wives! Protect yourselves! Reichswehr: enlist today!". The Reichswehr (Imperial Defence) was the name of the German military from 1919 until 1935.
