A group of Second World War aircraft, that formed part of the Australian War Memorial's National Collection, held at RAAF Fairbairn in 1954. Identified are: a Beaufort twin engined bomber (foreground); a Messerschmitt Me262 jet (centre); a Japanese Sally, twin engined bomber (left), and a B1 Lancaster, G for George (background). See also REL/20173, REL/08385.001 and RELAWM31788. The Sally bomber is no longer a part of the National Collection.
