The remaining pillars of the Temple of the Sun at Baalbek in Syria, which are 60 feet high. Some have been broken down by earthquakes and others by the Arabs cutting into the centres to get the copper rods which had been placed there originally to strengthen the pillars. This is a stereo image. One half of the image is held at A02876.
