Description

Royal Australian Air Force issue grey woollen blanket with three vertical blue stripes. The top and bottom edges are bound with blue wool blanket stitch. A white cotton label stitched to the lower left hand corner is machine embroidered in grey with the words: 'V 325 MADE IN AUSTRALIA 1942'.

History / Summary

Associated with the service of 118519 Leading Aircraftman Angus Alexander Peter, RAAF. Peter, who was born at Cobden, Victoria, in October 1900, joined the RAAF in September 1942, and was discharged at Laverton in December 1944.
