The Royal Nuclear Show - 3
Description
No. 3 in an anti-nuclear poster series parodying the Sydney Royal Easter Show created while Robertson was Artist in Residence at the Experimental Art Foundation, Adelaide, in 1981. The poster depicts visitors to the Royal Easter Show looking at exhibits, one of these exhibits talks about the 'nuclear family', usually regarded as a social unit of two parents and two children, but in this case it is a 'low yield tactical weapon for use in limited theatre war'.
