Collection relating to Second Lieutenant Thomas Francis Rowden, MM, 22 Battalion. It comprises a series of correspondence written by Rowden, 1915-1918 to his parents documenting his First World War experiences, including his troopship voyage and active service at Gallipoli, France and Belgium and his officer training in England. Also included are two letters from Rowden's sister Josie, 1918-1919.
