Nine soldiers of the 15th Reinforcements, 8th Light Horse Regiment, 3rd Light Horse Brigade prior to boarding HMAT Barunga (A43). The kitbag of 2098 Private Frederick Herbert Allen, of Auburn, Victoria is in the centre but his position in the group is unknown.
