Description
Troops from 23rd Reinforcements, 8th Battalion prior to boarding HMAT Hororata (A20). Identified are: 7014 Private (Pte) Leonard Cuthbert Mabbott, towards the end of the front row, holding his kitbag. Directly in front of him, identified by the kitbag leaning against his legs, is 7016 Pte Herbert Cecil Madden. In the far right corner a soldier is getting a drink from a tap.
