Description
Members of the January 1917 Reinforcements, Tunnelling Companies (Tun Coy), stand in a group on the wharf waiting to embark on the troopship RMS Omrah (A5) which left the wharf at Port Melbourne on 17 January 1917. Identified far right hand side partly obscured and holding the drawstring of his kitbag 6776 Sapper (Spr) Percy Sutton, labourer of Wallaroo, SA; unidentified standing with his arms crossed; 6888 Spr Edward Walter Pitt, skin buyer of Richmond, Tas; unidentified holding a flag.
