Studio portrait of 1745 (1745A) Private (Pte) David John McFarlane, a railway employee of Toorak, Vic, and 1800 Pte Frank Wisewould, a farmer of Jindivick, Vic, both of the 2nd Reinforcements, 46th Battalion. Both enlisted in 1916 and McFarlane returned to Australia on 12 May 1918; Wisewould returned to Australia in June 1919.
