Collection relating to Commander Norman "Tusky" Calder, OBE, Royal Australian Navy. The collection documents Calder's navy career, 1912-1959, including his naval training and service during the First World War, Second World War service as Captain of HMAS Bungaree and post war service including as Commanding Officer of HMAS Rushcutter. The collection comprises original diaries and transcripts, 1915-1918 and 1920, a manuscript Calder wrote relating to HMAS Bungaree, a letter, 1980, relating to HMAS Rushcutter, photographs, service records, and a CD-ROM containing transcripts of the original material and photographs.
