[9 Squadron RAAF] Vietnam Reel 7
Australian Army Cessna. The day of the big lift - the "Bent" 35 Squadron Caribou Transport aircraft is lifted by a US Army Sky crane to HMAS Sydney. Bird Dog USAF Observation Aircraft. A new fresh water tank for 9 Squadron hanger being lifted to its new tank stand. The Armourers at work maintaining guns from the 'Slicks.' New Year 1969 Day Party. Another U/S (Unserviceable) Caribou going to the 'grave yard.' At work on the Choppers. Another UH-1H comes home to be repaired. Down by the sea on US Army. 'Corpus Christie Bay' Repair Ship - Helio Hoists, Rotor Blades, Engines, Weapons anchored off Vung Tau. Motor Torpedo Boat at speed. Last ferry at 1600 hours (4pm) going ashore from the Corpus Christie Bay! Flying over the airfield at Vung Tau and Unite States Navy base at Cat Lo.

Launching out through the surf is most interesting! Harold Holt Memorial Pool at the Peter Badcoe Club - Back Beach - a popular Sunday venue to relax. The 'local girls' filling sandbags.
