Ten of the eleven judges appointed by General MacArthur for the panel of the International Tribunal for the Far East in Tokyo. These caricatures appeared regularly in the BCON Weekend magazine. Radhabinod Pal (1886-1967, India); Sir Erima Harvey Northcroft (1884-1953, New Zealand); Edward Stuart McDougall (1886-1957, Canada), and; Mei Ju-ao (1904-1973, China). Colonel Delfin Jaranilla (Philippines) objected to sentences believing them to be too lenient for the severity of the charge/s. Myron C. Cramer (United States of America); Major-General I.M. Zarayonov (USSR); Professor Bert V.A. Roling (Netherlands); Lord Patrick (United Kingdom) was appointed by General MacArthur as president of the Tribunal during the absence of Sir William Webb who returned to Australia, and; Henri Bernard (France).
