Two M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carriers with the call signs one two Alpha (12A) and one two Bravo (12B) bogged in marshy terrain. Half the vehicles of 1 Troop became bogged east of Thai Thien at about the same time and had to wait to be recovered by engineer vehicles.
