Married in Japan last year, Mrs Val Mulholland is seen here with her son Edward John, who was born at the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) General Hospital. Prior to her marriage Mrs Mulholland’s home was at Toowoomba, Qld. The Womens Weekly, Sydney, the Toowoomba Chronicle, Qld and the Sydney Sun ran some photos of the wedding when it occurred last year. Left to right are : Mrs Val Mulholland, wife of Captain E J Mulholland of Fairlight, NSW; baby Edward John Mulholland and nurse Marie Keer, of Kingston, ACT and the Royal Australian Army Nursing Service (RAANS).
