Unidentified members of the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars celebrating St Patrick’s Day in Korea. The smiling men are enjoying a roast meal and have been issued with two bottles of beer per man. In the background the unit’s crest is hanging from a tent pole. Its Latin motto reads 'Pristinae Virtutitis Memores' or 'Mindful of our former valour”. The 8th ‘s Centurion tanks provided support to the Australian infantry and other units of the 28th Commonwealth Brigade.
