Informal portrait of United States Generals gathered outside a tent just after Lieutenant General William Kelly Harrison signed the truce, on behalf of the United Nations, along with General Nam Il for the North Koreans, on 27 July 1953 at Panmunjom. Left to right: Brigadier General Ralph M Osborne, US Army 3rd Division (note the shoulder patch); Rear Admiral John C Daniel, US Navy; unidentified (concealed); Lieutenant General William Kelly Harrison, US Army and chief United Nations (UN) negotiator; US Air Force Major General, probably Edgar E Glenn. Some are wearing UN light blue paper identification tag on their shirts. This photograph is one of a series taken by Australian, Mr Douglas (Doug) Bushby, in his capacity as a UN accredited War Correspondent. Mr Bushby devoted much of his time to missionary work amongst Korean refugees, orphans and North Korean and Chinese prisoners of war.
