Description
As the shadows lengthen, a patrol from A Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), sets out into the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) of Korea, accompanied by patrol dog 'Target' and his handler. The soldiers, led by 23916 Second Lieutenant Donald MacKenzie (Don) Bourne of Werris Creek, NSW, have the task of probing the darkness of the mine strewn territory to the front of 1 Commonwealth Division to ensure there is no infiltration by enemy agents or any other breach of the armistice agreement.
