While The Honourable Wilfrid Selwyn Kent Hughes, Australian Minister for the Interior and for Works, visits Korea, he is staying in Seoul at the official residence of Lieutenant General R Bierwirth, Commander in Chief, British Commonwealth Forces Korea (BCFK). A guard is being provided for the residence from the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). Here during his stay the Minister is chatting informally with off-duty members of the guard. In the group are, left to right: 12205 Sergeant Frederick Henry 'Bill' Eacott of Brisbane, Qld, Guard Commander; Col Kent Hughes; Private (Pte) Eric Smith of Ballarat, Vic (probably 35178 Eric William Smith); possibly 28095 Pte Ian Campbell 'Lofty' Donald of Binnaway, NSW; and Private B J Stewart of Dimboola Vic (probably 35188 Stanley James Stewart).
