28109 Private (Pte) John Edward Hammond, of Parramatta, NSW, serving with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) on the Korean truce line, helps a British Army crane driver unload a generator at the 1st Commonwealth Division Workshops. Pte Hammond has been driving a 1RAR truck in Korea for the past seven months.
