Description
34524 Lance Corporal William Bernard (Bill) Everon ((front, right), of Richmond, Vic, passes his water bottle to American tank commander, Sergeant L Chavis, of San Jose, California, USA, during a battle exercise near the Korean truce line. Also taking a breather are two soldiers from Melbourne, Vic, Private (Pte) Bill Stewart (left), of South Caulfield, and 35361 Pte Bernard 'Peter Snow' Cousins, of Box Hill. The three soldiers are all serving with A Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). (Pte Bill Stewart is probably 35459 William Bruce Stewart).
