Amplifier Type A 1134A Ref. No. 10U/90
Amplifier manufactured according to standards set by the UK Air Ministry for installation on British aircraft. The rectangular unit is encased in black metal with two attached cords with sockets. The front has two black plastic switches and 'Instructions' are inscribed on a plate on the top of the unit. 'Amplifier Type A 1134A Ref. No. 10U/90 Serial No. 15750' is inscribed on the front.
This item was part of standard communications equipment used in British designed and constructed aircraft during the Second World War. It was mounted on a traverse table on the rear end of the navigator's table and was frequently used in conjunction with the AT.1154-R.1155 communications equipment as fitted in aircraft including the Avro Lancaster and GAF Lincoln bombers.
