Studio portrait of VX87594 Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Eric Stanley John Marsh, 152 Australian General Transport Company, of Hobart, Tas. WO2 Marsh enlisted on 22 July 1942 in the field in Victoria. He served much of his time in and out of hospitals and convalescent depots due to recurring bouts of Malaria. On 13 July 1944 he was posted to Murchison, Vic, to prisoner of war (POW) Camp 13 which housed German and Italian POWs. WO2 Marsh was discharged in February 1946.
