Before leaving Korea, officers and men of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) paid their last respects to the Australian war dead buried in the United Nations Military Cemetery at Pusan. With head bowed, 35543 Lance Corporal (LCpl) James Broderick, of Morwell, Vic, rests on reversed arms alongside the Australian plot in the cemetery as a brief memorial service is conducted. Nearly three hundred Australians are buried in the cemetery, which is looked after by the American Army.
