A photograph of 2915 Private (Pte) John Murphy, C Section, 5th Field Ambulance, of Chinchilla, Qld, and his donkey on the Gallipoli Peninsula. Pte Murphy enlisted on 30 March 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ajana on 31 May 1915. He returned to Australia on 28 August 1919. The other soldiers in this image are unidentified.
