Description
The artist has superimposed the words of a popular song over a map of Australia. The song, which was written towards the end of Australia's involvement in Vietnam, and became associated with returning Vietnam veterans and was a quiet comment on Australian society's treatment of them. The artist has also incorporated a photographic image in the work of his grandfather Private Oliver Charles Greenwood who served in the AIF between 1914 and 1917.
