Description

This drawing is of HMAS 'Bungaree' being dismantled at a jetty on Garden Island, Sydney in 1946. The 'Bungaree' had been a minelayer in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) up to the end of the Second World War. The 'Bungaree' is docked at the Garden Island jetty while a crane hovers overhead. There are buildings to the right of the Jetty and a distant landscape is evident on the left.
