Description
Working along side 221648 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Robert (Bob) Wallace of Toowoomba, Qld, is Pham Thi Sanh, a Vietnamese woman labourer employed by the RAAF, who is helping LAC Wallace spread the concrete for the floor of the relocated hangar at Vung Tao. The hangar itself, originally built in the Second World War, was a disused structure from an airfield at Parkes in central NSW. The hangar was dismantled and shipped to Vietnam to meet the needs of the expanding Australian contingent.
