History / Summary
Received by Charles Thomas Peters who was born at Brunswick, Victoria in 1896. He was working as a dental mechanic when he enlisted in the AIF at Melbourne in July 1915 aged nineteen. Peters joined 29 Battalion and served with that unit until October 1918 when he transferred to 32 Battalion. He was awarded the Military Medal in October 1918, while still serving with 29 Battalion, and returned to Australia in March 1919.
