Description
Vietnam is the place for the unusual pet, not seen every day in Australia. RAAF Caribou Crew Chief, 216932 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Malcolm Robert (Buddy) Rose, of Richmond, NSW, has a great pet in a tiny monkey from a United States (US) soldier at a Special Forces camp, when his Caribou called in with supplies. The 12 inch high monkey spends most of his days in a tree at the entrance to the RAAF’s hostel at Vung Tau. Here LAC Rose and his monkey share a few secrets, when the airman arrived back from a mission in the No 35 Squadron, RAAF Caribou. Note the monkey is wearing a collar and a light chain.
