Description
Half of a folio broadsheet cut from the 'Customs, London Ships' Reports No 112 Saturday Evening 13 May 1837'. The report, published in London by the Secretary of the Customs' Benevolent Fund, George Plank, details cargoes of various ships, ship's owners, number of crew and owners of the cargo through the ports of London and Liverpool.
History / Summary
This sheet was discovered folded in the lining of an officer's bell-topped Shako (REL/12119.001), probably to make the hat fit properly.
