Description
A view of the interior of the new two storey accommodation hut built for No 9 Squadron, RAAF, on the airfield, where the mess, club and toilet and shower facilities were also placed. On the locker on the right, is a calendar known as a 'short time susie' which was divided into 100 spaces to represent the last 100 days of service. Each space was coloured in red as the day passed and at the end of the period, the whole girl was red.
