History / Summary
Awarded to NX172241 Craftsman Reginald William Simmons, born Manly, NSW on 22 February 1925 and enlisted at Bathurst, NSW on 28 May 1943. Simmons served with the Watercraft Workshops of the Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (AEME) within Australia during the war and in New Guinea immediately after the end of the Second World War. He was discharged on 10 December 1946.
