Perrior, Harold Francis (Gunner, b.1891 - d.1979)
Collection relating to the First World War servie of 22150 Gunner (Gnr) Harold Francis Perrior, a farmer from Trafalgar, Victoria, who served initially with 23 Field Artillery Brigade (23 FAB); then 108th Howitzer Battery and 30th Battery, 8 FAB. Collection comprises mostly of letters dating between 1916-19 written to his parents and three siblings. Collection also includes letters written in 1914-15 to Harold Perrior (before he enlisted) by 2707 Private Edgar Hollier, 21 Battalion and 265 Trooper Archibald Gunn, B Squadron, 4th Light Horse Regiment. Also included are four diaries belonging to Gnr Perrior (brief entries); Farewell Dinner card for 30th Battery AIF; leave pass from AIF Training Camp; leave pass for Returned Soldier; Certificate of Discharge; Discharged Soldiers' Qualification Certificate for Mixed Farming; thank you letter from The King; Leave or Duty Ration Book; Combined Leave and Railway Ticket; various reciepts and theatre tickets; booklet of Waterloo postcards.
