Henry Steele and Caroline Isaacson boarding a Douglas C-47 aircraft. Taken by Barbara Joan Isaacson as an Army Directorate of Public Relations photographer, during a trip to Queensland and the Atherton Tablelands to document the work of the women's services in early 1943. The touring party included the journalists Connie Robertson, Iris Dexter, Patricia Knox and Rita Dunstan.
