Description
An M113A1 armoured personnel carrier (APC) with the call sign three one (31). It has been fitted with sponson and belly armour and is armed with a turret mounted .50 calibre M2 HB Browning heavy machine gun and a pintle mounted .30 calibre L3A4 Browning medium machine gun. Two other similar vehicles are parked in the background to the left and right. Note that the vehicle call sign has been stenciled onto a metal plate which has been affixed to the hull side and a row of ammunition boxes are fitted to the roof deck. The large stowage boxes on the rear of the front vehicle and the vehicle (right) may contain claymore mines.
