This letter was written while Captain Henry was serving as a chaplain in New Guinea, attached to 2/15 Australian Infantry Battalion. In his letter, Captain Henry writes about being negligent in his correspondence, seeing a large area of New Guinea, poor living conditions of the Japanese, and enjoying a short period of leave.
