The micro switch and actuating arm, fitted to the rear section of a window launching machine, Mk 1a. This equipment was constructed by personnel of 199 Squadron, RAF, and was used operationally from 1945 as a countermeasure against German radar. The machine was designed by 424778 Flight Lieutenant Charles Joseph Merryfull, RAAF.
